In one sense, we are already justified by the faith(fulness) of Christ before we come to faith in Him. The defeat of death and the gift of eternal life depends on the faith(fulness) of Christ (to death - even death on a cross!), not on our faith in Him.

In another sense, we are not yet justified by the faith(fulness) of Christ until we are united with Him - by faith in the present and in reality in the future (faith being the sole means by which we are united with Christ).
"But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." - Romans 3:21-24 (NIV)
"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.
