Grace has a pedagogical function in the lives of those who prove His faithfulness, who walk by faith and not by sight.

Raised For Our Justification

And we are raised with Him
Death is dead, love has won
Christ has conquered

The Lord's Supper continually brings the church back to the cross, when we have drifted away from it in our activities and discussions.
One of the issues the early church faced was keeping Jews and Gentiles together.
"And Jesus answered them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance."" - Luke 5:31-32 (ESV)
"Why do you call me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do what I tell you?" - Luke 6:46 (ESV)
